Lakers forward Lamar Odom needs a hug.
After being told of his trade to the Hornets for point guard Chris Paul, Odom described himself as “shocked” and “surprised” by the move, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Then, of course, he heard that the trade had been voided by the league.
What’s a man to do?
“I don’t know what I’m going to do,” said Odom. “I’ll pray about it.”
Odom is also considering not showing up to practice when Lakers camp opens on Friday.
“Maybe I’ll see you there [at practice on Friday],” Odom said. “But I doubt it. You don’t want to go to no place you’re not wanted. I’ll try to give them what they want as much as possible.”
