South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore is widely considered the most NFL-ready running back in all of college football. But after a gruesome injury Saturday against Tennessee, his football career is sidetracked for the second time in two years.
Lattimore tore his ACL last season, and after a long recovery, he returned to the South Carolina offense in the best shape of his career. Saturday's leg injury looks to have put Lattimore right back where he started, though.
An emotional Lattimore was surrounded by his Gamecock teammates and members of the Volunteer defense before he was carted off the field.
