Report: Mike Wallace to Dolphins a ‘Done Deal,’ Despite NFL Free Agency Tampering Window

The NFL’s free agency tampering window is supposed to prevent “done deals,” but it seems the Miami Dolphins are as close as possible to striking a deal with a star wide receiver.

Mike Wallace to the Miami Dolphins is a “done deal,” according to the Palm Beach Post. ESPN, Sports Illustrated and USA Today have also reported heavy interest between the two parties. It was reported on Sunday that Wallace’s deal will average $13 million. That would make him the third-highest paid wide receiver in the NFL behind Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald.

The Dolphins already re-signed Brian Hartline this offseason. Slot receiver Davone Bess is still under contract. Wallace would give Miami a deep threat to add to quarterback Ryan Tannehill‘s arsenal.
