FOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots were missing four key players at the start of Wednesday’s practice.
Guard Logan Mankins (ankle), wide receivers Aaron Dobson (foot) and Josh Boyce (ankle) and cornerback Alfonzo Dennard (shoulder/knee) were absent from practice. Mankins and Dobson were injured during Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
Boyce has been out of practice since injuring his ankle in Week 15 against the Dolphins. Dennard suited up in Week 16 but played limited snaps. He was inactive Sunday against the Bills.
The Patriots have 10 days to get healthy. They play their divisional-round playoff game at Gillette Stadium on Jan. 11 at 8:15 p.m., hosting the highest remaining seed in the AFC.
