David Ortiz, Dustin PedroiaThere’s still a little less than a month left in the 2014 Major League Baseball regular season, but the league revealed its 2015 schedule Monday.

The Boston Red Sox will open the season on the road again in 2015, when they travel to Philadelphia for a three-game interleague series with the Phillies, starting April 6. The Red Sox then will head to the Bronx for a three-game series with the New York Yankees before coming home.

The Red Sox’s 2015 home opener is scheduled for Monday, April 13, against the Washington Nationals in another interleague series. After that three-game set, the Red Sox are scheduled to play 22 consecutive games against American League East opponents.

The Red Sox will end the season Oct. 4 in Cleveland.

Here are a few other 2015 schedule highlights.

— The Red Sox’s interleague schedule consists of only National League East teams, including the two early series against the Phillies and Nationals. The Red Sox will travel to every NL East ballpark except Washington.

— The Sox will host the Baltimore Orioles on Patriots’ Day on April 20.

— The Sox have a West Coast road trip planned for mid-May, with seven games in seven days between stops in Oakland and Seattle. That West Coast swing is part of Boston’s longest road trip of the season. The Sox will play 10 in a row away from Fenway Park, including a three-game set in Toronto to kick off the trip.

— The Red Sox play 17 of their 29 games in May on the road.

— The All-Star Game will be held July 14 in Cincinnati. The Red Sox finish the unofficial first half July 12 in New York against the Yankees and open the second half July 17 in Anaheim against the Angels.
