Tom Brady has unseated Peyton Manning, at least temporarily.

Brady leapfrogged Manning for the most career passing yards in NFL playoff history Saturday with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Danny Amendola in the second quarter of the New England Patriots’ AFC divisional-round playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens at Gillette Stadium.

Manning previously held the career postseason record with 6,589 passing yards. Brady entered Saturday’s contest with 6,424 career playoff passing yards.

Brady might not hold the record for long, as Manning’s Denver Broncos will host the Indianapolis Colts in a divisional-round playoff game Sunday. But for at least 24 hours, Brady will remain at the top of the heap.

Brady’s touchdown pass to Amendola also moved the quarterback into a tie with Brett Favre for the second-most passing touchdowns (44) in NFL playoff history. Joe Montana holds the record with 45 TD tosses.

UPDATE, 8:04 p.m.: Tom Brady broke Joe Montana’s record with his 46th career playoff passing touchdown.
