Good News, Tom Brady: Going To Both Kentucky Derby, Mayweather-Pacquiao Is Possible

Believe it or not, it’s possible to attend both the Kentucky Derby and the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight this Saturday. But it won’t be easy.

First and foremost, you’re going to need a lot of money. Like, a whole lot of money. Like a whole crapload of money. We know tickets to the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight are going for absurd prices, and the Derby ain’t cheap, either.

You might also think it’s logistically impossible, but as the Wall Street Journal pointed out last week, it’s actually doable, but again, you need to be filthy rich and you need to have access to a private plane. According to the WSJ report, it’s technically possible to catch the Derby, which starts at 6:24 p.m. ET. You just need to leave as soon as possible after the race ends, board your private jet and cruise across the country to Vegas. You’d likely arrive in Vegas during the undercard bouts.

According to the WSJ, the going rate for that private jet flight is about $25,000. If you’re in the market for some of the best seats in the house at MGM Grand Garden Arena, you’re blowing past $100,000 for the day.

However, that’s not really that much money for a guy like Tom Brady, is it? Who knows, he could be thinking about doing this, given the fact he’s been to the Kentucky Derby in the past and reportedly plans on attending the fight.
