2015 NBA Free Agency Live: Warriors Re-Sign Draymond Green To Five-Year Deal

11:32 p.m.: Just as things were winding down, more news is breaking.

Arguably the biggest news: The world champion Golden State Warriors are retaining one of their best players — Draymond Green.

[tweet https://twitter.com/SpearsNBAYahoo/status/616439475011366913 align=’center’]

The Sacramento Kings and Philadelphia 76ers have made a trade.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616442694433255424 align=’center’]

The price to dump salaries is steep, though. It’s a savvy move by Sixers GM Sam Hinkie: If you can’t get a free agent, take on rental salary for a prospect.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616443586867892224 align=’center’]

More details on the deal. Have to wonder who those overseas players are — if it’s Croatian prospect Dario Saric, the No. 12 pick in last year’s draft, it’s a really nice move by the Kings. We’re guessing it’s not, though.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616444793573343232 align=’center’]

Rondo?

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616444553222946816 align=’center’]

Rondo. And Wes Matthews and Monta Ellis, too.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616446355175702530 align=’center’]

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616446971671285760 align=’center’]

And some Robin Lopez news. And no, Celtics fans, it’s not about him coming to Boston.

[tweet https://twitter.com/FisolaNYDN/status/616369029754814464 align=’center’]

7:20 p.m. Paul Pierce is reuniting with his former Boston Celtics coach, Doc Rivers. Multiple reports have Pierce agreeing to a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616390360382570496 align=’center’]

In other news, Paul Millsap has re-upped with the Atlanta Hawks.

[tweet https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/616374555964276736 align=’center’]

The Cleveland Cavaliers are keeping an important piece to their puzzle as well. Iman Shumpert will remain a Cav.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616389003261030400 align=’center’]

And it appears the Lakers’ pitch to LaMarcus Aldridge left the prized big man wholly unimpressed.

[tweet https://twitter.com/Mike_Bresnahan/status/616345152391491584 align=’center’]

This apparently wasn’t the best comparison.

[tweet https://twitter.com/Mike_Bresnahan/status/616349177946083328 align=’center’]

Though Bryant might not have been the issue.

[tweet https://twitter.com/Mike_Bresnahan/status/616362528981934080 align=’center’]

The Phoenix Suns and Aldridge’s former team, the Portland Trail Blazers, are still in the mix. Some sources don’t believe the L.A. Times report that the Lakers are out, either.

Old friend Brandan Wright, who came over to the Celtics for a brief time in the Rajon Rondo deal, has signed with the Memphis Grizzlies.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616373936431894528 align=’center’]

3:45 p.m.: Apparently it’s a busy afternoon for the Celtics. In addition to reportedly landing Amir Johnson, they’ve also reportedly re-signed Jonas Jerebko.

[tweet https://twitter.com/sam_amick/status/616329774567424000 align=’center’]

3:31 p.m.: The Celtics have been quiet all day, but they’ve reportedly added a body. They’ve reportedly agreed to a deal with Amir Johnson.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616328230698483712 align=’center’]

Here are the reported financial terms of the deal.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616328872146042880 align=’center’]

3:21 p.m.: Tyson Chandler reportedly has agreed to a deal with the Phoenix Suns. According to a report from Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Chandler’s first task as a Sun is to help the team recruit LaMarcus Aldridge.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616324147996553217 align=’center’]

3:18 p.m.: Things are getting crazy. Sources told Yahoo! Sports’ Marc Spears that the Golden State Warriors and Draymond Green have broken off contract talks. Green is a restricted free agent and can now meet with teams, but the Warriors have the option of matching any offers Green receives.

2:30 p.m.: Kevin Love is staying in Cleveland, according to Kevin Love. He just made his announcement on The Players’ Tribune.

“Yeah, of course I’ve heard the free agency rumors,” Love wrote. “But at the end of the day, and after meeting with my teammates (it turns out pools are great meeting places) and with the front office, it was clear Cleveland was the place for me. We’re all on the same page and we’re all in. We have unfinished business and now it’s time to get back to work.”

2:15 p.m.: Jimmy Butler is going nowhere. He’s signing a huge contract with the Bulls, per Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616295857894244352 align=’center’]

2:10 p.m.: Here’s the latest on Wesley Matthews, per ESPN’s Marc Stein.

[tweet https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/616301511757291521 align=’center’]

12:09 p.m.: The Toronto Raptors reportedly have made a splash by signing small forward DeMarre Carroll, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616276740772511744 align=’center’]

11:47 a.m.: With all of the wheeling and dealing the Spurs are doing, someone was going to be the odd man out, and that’s apparently Tiago Splitter. The Spurs big man is heading to Atlanta, as Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports he’s been traded to the Hawks.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616271499977060353 align=’center’]

11:33 a.m.: After locking up Kawhi Leonard, the Spurs reportedly have brought back free-agent guard Danny Green, as well.

[tweet https://twitter.com/Chris_Broussard/status/616267002026553344 align=’center’]

11:08 a.m.: Dwyane Wade opted out of his contract with the Heat, but he’s reportedly hoping to rejoin Miami on a max deal.

[tweet https://twitter.com/SuryaHeatNBA/status/616259551478816768 align=’center’]

10:59 a.m.: Potential good news for teams like the Celtics:

[tweet https://twitter.com/ChrisMannixSI/status/616259471065653248 align=’center’]

10:45 a.m.: More teams will join the Greg Monroe party later today.

[tweet https://twitter.com/KBergCBS/status/616256077492015105 align=’center’]

10:15 a.m.: Jimmy Butler continues to weigh his options.

[tweet https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/616248150144106496 align=’center’]

9:57 a.m.: An interesting note from Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders, who mentions Millsap-to-Magic could come via a sign-and-trade involving Orlando forward Tobias Harris — a player many Celtics fans covet.

[tweet https://twitter.com/stevekylerNBA/status/616241459130462209 align=’center’]

9:49 a.m.: That list of free agents staying where they are? Toss Goran Dragic on it, too.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616240824079155203 align=’center’]

9:45 a.m.: Paul Millsap, another player the Celtics were rumored to have interest in, reportedly has whittled his list down to two.

[tweet https://twitter.com/daldridgetnt/status/616239701394128896 align=’center’]

[tweet https://twitter.com/Chris_Broussard/status/616241856544948224 align=’center’]

9:35 a.m.: Greg Monroe reportedly met with the Knicks last night. Next up: the Blazers.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616237704133505024 align=’center’]

9:13 a.m.: Add Mike Dunleavy to the list of free agents staying put.

[tweet https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/616232828921999360 align=’center’]

Dunleavy, who started 63 games for the Bulls this past season and posted his lowest scoring average (9.4 points per game) since his rookie year, reportedly was pursued by the Cavaliers, as well, at LeBron James’ urging.

9:06 a.m.: According to Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com the Cavaliers have reached out to veteran forward Tayshaun Prince, who had a cup of coffee with the Celtics last season before being dealt back to Detroit at the trade deadline.

9:01 a.m.: The Trail Blazers might not be keeping LaMarcus Aldridge, but they are holding onto their other star, point guard Damian Lillard, and it looks like he’ll be making some serious cash.

[tweet https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/616229206679121924 align=’center’]

8:40 a.m.: Good morning, hoops fans. Here’s what you might have missed in the wee hours of this morning:

It sounds like Khris Middleton is staying put in Milwaukee.

[tweet https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/616139234148253697 align=’center’]

As are Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young in Brooklyn.

[tweet https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/616108692388196352 align=’center’]

The Celtics have not contacted free-agent forward Brandon Bass.

[tweet https://twitter.com/GwashburnGlobe/status/616116991884070912 align=’center’]

But they have spoken with Corey Brewer, who was a productive reserve for the Houston Rockets this past season. (Update: A tweet from Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski reporting the C’s spoke with Brewer has since been deleted.)

The Pacers are showing great interest in Monta Ellis.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616117220289089536 align=’center’]

Oh, and there’s this:

[tweet https://twitter.com/SeanGrandePBP/status/616102769775280128 align=’center’]

12:42 a.m. ET: Let’s hope Danny Ainge paid his phone bill.

As of 12:01 a.m. ET Wednesday, NBA teams legally could reach out to free agents and recruit them to join their teams, offer them contracts or just say hello and that they’re interested.

The Boston Celtics absolutely will be one of the most active teams, though whether they come away with any shiny new toys like Kevin Love or Tobias Harris remains to be seen.

One thing to remember: The NBA officially is in a “moratorium” period through July 8, which basically means teams can agree to contracts verbally, but those contracts can’t be signed and made official until July 9.

Several big news nuggets already have dropped, as New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis and San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard both reportedly have agreed to new contracts with their respective teams, and it appears Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler isn’t far behind them.

We’ll be updating this live blog continually as news breaks, so be sure to bookmark the page and check back for all of your NBA rumors and reports.

Here are the biggest rumors floating around.

First, some Celtics news.

One player the team was rumored to be interested in looks to be off the market.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616100356104155136 align=’center’]

No guarantees on Kevin Love quite yet.

[tweet https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616088553894731776 align=’center’]

Though it appears the Los Angeles Lakers are on Love’s short list.

Paul Pierce could be off the market soon.
