Terrell Owens Congratulates Patriots on Win This just in: Terrell Owens is on the Buffalo Bills.

It would have been easy to overlook that fact on Monday night, and it looked at times like Trent Edwards wasn't even aware that he had a Hall of Fame receiver lining up to his left.

Owens, who finished the night with two catches for 46 yards and one drop, couldn't leave the locker room fast enough following the Bills' heart-wrenching 25-24 loss in Foxborough. But while he had no time for the media (he told reporters "You're wasting your time, I got nothing to say"), he had time to write a moderately bizarre message on his Twitter page:

"Congrats 2 the Pats!! On the bus headed 2 airport. Cn't wait 2 get hm & get n the bed!"

Congrats to the Pats? As in the divisional rival that's now beaten the Bills 12 straight times? As in the team that just crushed the spirits of upstate New York in a matter of five minutes? Congrats? Really?

T.O. also showed he's not yet in franchise destruction mode, adding, "We'll b ready next week! I promise u that!!"

That sounds fine, but should Owens once again find himself ignored by Edwards in a tight game, his Tweets could become endlessly more exciting.

Overall, it was a curious reaction to a poor night for the Bills, but of course we've come to expect nothing less from T.O.
