The Bruins will hold a news conference on Wednesday after practice at the team's practice rink in Wilmington, Mass., to announce the signing of forward Milan Lucic to an extension, and NESN will air the conference in its entirety at 5:30 p.m.
Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli and Lucic are expected to speak. The team announced Tuesday that Lucic signed a three-year extension, with ESPN.com reporting the deal is worth a little over $4 million per season.
