Josh Cribbs' Agent Angry at Browns In the final seconds of Monday night's loss, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Cribbs was hit hard by Baltimore defensive end Dwan Edwards, sending Cribbs to the hospital on a backboard. Cribbs was released from the hospital on Tuesday, but that doesn't mean Cribbs' agent is happy with the Browns, with whom he's been battling for the past year.

The agent, J.R. Rickert, took issue with the Browns running a play that featured a series of laterals at the end of a 16-0 game. Even if the Browns scored on the play, they'd still lose the game. That appears to be what bothers Rickert the most.

"I can't even put into words how upset I am at them for leaving him in like that," Rickert told cleveland.com.

Some Ravens, including Trevor Pryce, also thought the decision was questionable.

"Running a play like that when you're down 16 — what are you trying to prove?'' Pryce told the Web site. "I don't understand it. I don't want to say something like that, but heck, it's the truth. Bad things happen when you do something like that. When people are running around like crazy, somebody's going to get hurt."

Cribbs' situation in Cleveland has been tenuous since the end of last season, when Cribbs and his agent wanted a new contract. Cribbs, however, has played in every game this season as a wide receiver, kick returner and punt returner. The injury adds yet another stain to what has been a tumultuous reign for head coach Eric Mangini, who's 1-8 in his first season.
