LeBron James Injures Wrist in Loss to Washington The Cavaliers lost to the 3-7 Washington Wizards on Wednesday night. That was bad enough.

But if LeBron James has to miss a chunk of time because of an injured wrist, things are about to get a whole lot worse in Cleveland.

With less than two minutes remaining in the Cavs' 108-91 loss to the Wizards, the forward banged and hurt his left wrist on the basket while dunking, according to ESPN.com. He hurt the same wrist earlier in the season and iced it in the locker room after Wednesday's game.

"I hit it pretty bad on the rim," James told the site. "It's like you hit your funny bone, but it's not funny at all. … It didn't feel good at the time."

James finished with 34 points and nine assists for the 8-4 Cavs, who hold a half-game lead over Milwaukee for first place in the Central standings. He is currently averaging 28.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 8.1 assists a night in 12 games so far this season.
