Shannon Brown's emergence has pushed Sasha Vujacic into obscurity. Vujacic has seen his playing time with the Lakers dwindle significantly, as his average minutes per game have dropped from 16.2 last season to 7.4 this season.

Despite his limited role on the team, the 25-year-old's positive outlook has helped the Lakers maintain their status as a dominant NBA team, the Los Angeles Times reports.

"The thing is, P.J. [Phil Jackson] knows what I can do," Vujacic told Times. "Obviously, we are playing a different kind of basketball, and we all know that. The rotations are doing good, and we are playing just different than before.”

The Lakers are the top team in the NBA's Western Conference and have a chance to repeat as world champions . Even though the depth of the team has made it difficult for Vujacic to see much action, the Yugoslavian native isn’t complaining.

"You just got to stay positive no matter what," Vujacic told the Times. "I've always believed that hard work pays off. The first part of the season is going the way it's going. I'm ready to play, and whenever my number is called, I'm going to be there to give 110 percent."

Vujacic remains the fifth guard in the Lakers' rotation behind starters Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher and reserves Brown and Jordan Farmar.
