Report: Infielder Felipe Lopez Fires Agent Scott Boras

Free-agent infielder Felipe Lopez has fired his agent, Scott Boras, according to ESPN.com.

Lopez, who played with the Diamondbacks and Brewers in 2009, was unhappy that he is still without a team. He hit .310 and posted a .383 on-base percentage last season.

The 29-year-old who has 536 runs scored and a .269 batting average in 1,024 career games has since signed on with Beverly Hill Sports Council.
