Thierry Henry is coming to America. According to media reports, the famed French soccer star will move to the U.S. and play in the MLS for the New York Red Bulls.

The 32-year-old French striker is believed to have signed a deal for next season, but Henry would not confirm the claim.

“For the moment, nothing is certain,” Henry told the Spanish newspaper Dairio AS. “I am a Barcelona player and have another year left on my contract.”

Henry’s season with Barcelona ended on Sunday, and now he has shifted his focus to the upcoming World Cup in South Africa.

“Currently, my only worry is preparing for the World Cup with France,” he said. “I will have time to reflect on my future later.”

Henry has scored 51 career goals for the French national team — more than any other French player in history — and owns several scoring records with Arsenal, his former English Premier League team.

The Red Bulls will enter next season with a new arena and hope to build on a season in which they only scored eight goals on their way to a 5-3 record.
