Red Sox fans like to let the world know who they want to see playing home games at Fenway.

Recently, Carl Crawford, Prince Fielder, and even Albert Pujols have been hot topics, but nobody has been as common a fixture in the rumor mill as Padres first baseman Adrian Gonzalez.

The talk may have to end for now, though, as Padres majority owner Jeff Moorad has said that Gonzalez will not be traded this coming offseason, WEEI reports.

"It's a foregone conclusion that he will be back with the team," said Moorad.

Gonzalez, who has been hitting .305 with a .906 OPS and 27 home runs in 2010, is scheduled to be a free agent in 2011.

The Padres have been surprise contenders in 2010, and are percentage points ahead of the Giants for the NL West lead going into Saturday's action.
