Providence Native Cody Wild Happy to Help P-Bruins Defense Any Way He Can

Providence Bruins defenseman Cody Wild has a knack for blocking shots. It’s a painful task, but one that impresses his teammates and coaches alike.

“I’ll do whatever I can to stay in the lineup, and if that means blocking shots, that’s what I’ll do,” Wild said.  

Wild, who grew up in Providence and attended Providence College, has played just one game with the P-Bruins this season. He made an immediate impact, though, and won the team’s Hard Hat award in the process.
