FOXBORO, Mass. — Quarterback Tom Brady missed the Patriots’ first practice of Jets week Tuesday, marking the fourth consecutive week he has missed the team’s initial practice.

Despite missing time with a foot injury, Brady has been on his hottest stretch of the season, completing 70-of-95 passes (73.7 percent) for 877 yards, nine touchdowns and no interceptions. He missed last week’s lone practice in preparation for the Lions, but managed to record the second perfect passer rating of his career.

Cornerback Jonathan Wilhite (hip), right guard Stephen Neal (shoulder), defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion/neck), defensive lineman Myron Pryor (back) and defensive lineman Ron Brace (unknown) were also absent for the full-padded practice.
