Andy Carroll Possibly Set to Make Liverpool Debut on March 6 Against Manchester United

The much-anticipated Liverpool debut of Andy Carroll could be mere weeks away, according to several reports.

The 22-year-old striker, whom Liverpool acquired from Newcastle with a reported £35 million ($54.46 million) transfer fee, could play March 6 against Manchester United. ESPNsoccernet reported that Carroll is "on course" to play March 6, while The Telegraph stated that the members of Liverpool's "medical staff believe he could be available for the visit of United  on March 6."

Carroll will have some lofty expectations placed on him when he does return, as he's been receiving praise both from his old club and his new club.
