Vote: Which Hockey East Alum Will Have Biggest Impact on Bruins-Lightning Series? Bruins fans may not know too much about the Tampa Bay Lightning, but there are a couple of names on the Tampa roster that are surely familiar to fans of New England hockey.

That's because the Lightning have a pair of key contributors who are alumni of Hockey East.

One of them happens to be forward Martin St. Louis. The scrappy playmaker spent his college days up in Burlington at the University of Vermont. While the Catamounts were apart of the ECAC when St. Louis was at UVM, Hockey East still considers St. Louis an alum.

Then there's goalie Dwayne Roloson. It's been a long time since the 41-year-old has been in college, but he's another name that Boston-area hockey nuts no doubt knew about on his way up. Roloson spent time between the pipes while at UMass-Lowell before heading on to an NHL career that has taken him here, there and everywhere.

While the Lightning represent Hockey East well, the most notable alum in the series, at least for B's fans, is no doubt Tim Thomas. The Boston goalie actually played with St. Louis at UVM, which is where Thomas credits much of his development as not only a hockey player, but a person as well.

Hockey East will no doubt be done proud by this trio of alumni as the Eastern Conference final gets under way on Saturday night in Boston. It's safe to say that all three will play prominent roles in deciding who gets represent the Eastern Conference in the quest for Lord Stanley's Cup. Which Hockey East alum, though, will have the biggest impact?
