Continuing his transformation of Liverpool back into contenders for Europe, Kenny Dalglish and the club has made more noise in the transfer market in the recent days.

One week after signing English international Jordan Henderson in a £20 million deal, the Reds have their eyes set on a number of other additions.

Atop of that list may be AC Milan striker Antonio Cassano. According to LFC.tv, the Italian appears to be fifth in line for the Rosonerri, who have a formidable group of attackers in Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Italian International Pippo Inzaghi and the Brazilian duo of Robinho and Alexandre Pato. The 28-year-old Cassano scored 4 goals and added six assists for the Serie A Champions.

With reports of Reds winger Maxi Rodriguez plotting a return to Argentina, Liverpool is shopping around for a replacement and have their eyes set on 26-year-old Spanish International Santi Cazorla from Villarreal, according to LFC.tv. The Yellow Submarine have informed Liverpool that the player is available for €20 million. Cazorla started 34 games for Villarreal, scoring five goals and assisting on 10 others, and apparently Dalglish has been keen towards him since January.

Another 'Pool target since the beginning of 2011 has been Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam. After a £7m bid was rejected by the Seasiders in January, the Reds have upped their bid to around £10 million, yet they may have to wait as Blackpool listens to the Red Devil on the other shoulder. As reported by the Daily Star, Manchester United is planning a £12 million dollar bid for the Scotland native. Apparently Adam is United's fall-back if they don't land their No. 1 target, Dutch star Wesley Sneijder.
