Carl Crawford Scheduled for Two-Game Rehab Stint in Pawtucket on Friday, Saturday NightsHe’s (almost) back.

Injured Red Sox outfielder Carl Crawford will take another step in his rehabilitation this weekend with a two-game rehab stint for the Pawtucket Red Sox this Friday and Saturday night.

Crawford has been on the disabled list since June 18 after straining his left hamstring during an interleague game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The outfielder struggled early on in his first season in Boston, but found his swing in June, hitting .316 with four home runs and 17 RBIs in the 21 games prior to his injury.

The PawSox host the Durham Bulls this weekend at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket. Game time is 7:05 p.m. on Friday and 6:05 p.m. on Saturday.
