You might think that the idea of a championship ring was so you would always have something to look at and cherish from such a wonderful event. The idea of a championship ring is that it's portable, so you can travel with it and still let people know how much better you are than them.
Apparently, that's not enough for Green Bay Packers defensive back Sam Shields. Maybe he sees the negatives of a championship ring — maybe they're too shiny, or too cool to constantly look at when you have it on. Maybe he was thinking about how easy it could be to lose such a small piece of jewelery. Luckily for Shields, it will be a lot more difficult to lose a giant tattoo of said championship ring on your neck.
The only way he could lose that is if he lost his neck. Seems as though he has already lost his mind, so I wouldn't rule it out.
