Michael Ryder Signs Two-Year Deal With Dallas Stars Michael Ryder's career in Boston is officially over.

The veteran winger signed a two-year, $7 million deal with the Dallas Stars on Friday, hours after free agency began in the NHL. The Stars announced the signing on their official Twitter page.

Ryder, 31, spent three seasons in Boston, averaging 21 goals and 21 assists per year. He was a key contributor in the Bruins' first-round playoff series against Montreal in April, scoring two goals in Game 4, including the overtime game-winner. He finished the postseason with eight goals and nine assists in 25 games.
