Robert Ross Files Lawsuit Against Shaquille O'Neal Alleging He Ordered Kidnapping by Gang Members Ex-gang member Robert Ross has filed a lawsuit against retired NBA star Shaquille O'Neal, alleging that O'Neal organized a plot to have Ross kidnapped in order to retrieve a sex tape, according to TMZ.

Ross also claims O'Neal "requested and directed" him to carry out hits on several people, including a record producer and a woman he impregnated. The lawsuit was filed Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The document reads, "For many years O'Neal requested and directed [Ross] to perform many personal favors and directed him to perform various tasks including, but not limited to: ordering [Ross] to kill a member of the Downtown Gangster Crips who had disrespected O'Neal in front of his wife Shaunie."

The lawsuit further claims O'Neal ordered that a record producer and a woman who was pregnant with his child be murdered. Another section of the document details that the 19-year NBA veteran wanted another NBA star's shooting arm broken.

Ross filed criminal charges against seven L.A. gang members, saying they kidnapped him because he had a sex tape that included Shaq and a woman who was not his wife.

"The outlandish claims by Robert Ross in his civil complaint are pure fiction," said O'Neal's lawyer, Michael J. Kump. "Shaquille O'Neal befriended Mr. Ross in an attempt to help turn his life around.  Sadly, Mr. Ross abused that friendship again and again. Shaquille's commitment to law enforcement is well-known and documented.  He will not dignify these defamanatory allegations with a response."
