Relying on the un-retired Kerry Collins, Indy is kicking off its season without Peyton Manning for the first time since 1997, when Jim Harbaugh was under center for the Colts' 16-10 loss in Miami to kick off what would be a 3-13 campaign.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported that Manning underwent yet another surgery on Thursday and will be out a minimum of two months. This isn't quite what Colts fans wanted to hear, as this Indy team has rightfully been built around the legendary slinger.
