Jarrod Saltalamacchia does the catching as Jon Lester tries to turn Friday night's victory over the Rays into the first Red Sox win streak in three weeks.

Lester (15-7, 3.07 ERA) had gone five consecutive starts giving up one earned run or less before his last outing, when he gave up four runs and lasted just four innings. He will look to build off Friday's 4-3 victory, which moved the Red Sox four games ahead of the Rays in the American League Wild Card Race.

Tampa Bay right-hander Jeff Niemann (10-7, 3.97) goes for his second complete game against the Red Sox this season.

Jacoby Ellsbury is leading off in the lineup announced by the Sox. Dustin Pedroia bats second and Adrian Gonzalez is third, with David Ortiz in the cleanup spot again with Kevin Youkilis out with a sports hernia.

Josh Reddick is in right field and bats fifth, followed by Saltalamacchia and Carl Crawford. Mike Aviles plays third base for the second straight day in place of Youkilis, with Marco Scutaro at shortstop.

Desmond Jennings leads off for the Rays. Ben Zobrist bats cleanup.
