Tim Wakefield's 200th Win Sets Off Celebration for Teammates, Fans Alike (Photos) Tim Wakefield has meant so much to his Red Sox teammates and their fans over the years. On Tuesday night, as the knuckleballer finally picked up his 200th career win, those same teammates and fans got a chance to show Wakefield how much he means to them.

Wakefield came back onto the field after the final out was recorded, and he was able to soak in thunderous applause from another capacity Fenway Park crowd as well as his teammates who all came back out to salute them.

Naturally, it was Jonathan Papelbon — armed with a bottle of champagne — who was one of the first players to get ahold of Wakefield after he finished praising the crowd.
