Lance Armstrong Takes Shot at Jerry Jones After Another Cowboys Loss

Lance Armstrong surely has a ton of money, but does he have enough coin to buy the Dallas Cowboys? If he doesn't, he sure wishes he does.

The world-class cyclist is a Dallas Cowboys fan, and he is simply not impressed with the Boys' lackluster season thus far. Dallas sits at 3-4 through eight weeks after the Cowboys were dressed down on Sunday night by division rival Philadelphia.

This beatdown, and the subsequent comments from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, caught Armstrong's attention, and he felt the need to vent.

"'If I had a few hundred million bucks I'd buy the Dallas Cowboys then get the hell outta the way," Armstrong recently tweeted.

Now, either Armstrong is way off on how much he thinks the Cowboys might be sold for, or he has more money than we actually thought.

According to Forbes, the Cowboys are the second-most valuable sports franchise on the planet. Jones' empire is worth more than $1.8 billion. So if Armstrong is just a meager "few million bucks" away, those Radio Shack commercials are bringing in a pretty substantial payday for the seven-time Tour de France winner.

That, or the recent rash of ugly weather has allowed him to pile up on overtime at his second job at the Worldwide Leader in Sports.
