Vote: Who Was 'Man of the Match' in Liverpool's Win Against Chelsea Glen Johnson, Maxi and Daniel Sturridge scored as Liverpool defeated Chelsea 2-1 on Sunday to go level on points with its rivals from London. Charlie Adam was instrumental in both Liverpool goals. He took the ball off of John Mikel Obi to create the opener. He also played the cross-field pass that Johnson turned into the winner. 

Pepe Reina made a heroic save that preserved the 1-1 score when it looked like Chelsea would overrun Liverpool.
