The Bruins were all smiles following an 8-0 win over the Florida Panthers on Friday night, but one young Bruin found out he's headed back to the AHL.

The B's announced following the game that youngster Jordan Caron is being sent back to Providence. Especially with the improved play of Zach Hamill and improved health of veterans like Gregory Campbell, Caron has found himself to be the odd man out as of late, being scratched in the last three games. A move back to the AHL will obviously present the forward with more ice time as it stands right now.

In 13 games in Boston this season, Caron has a goal and a pair of assists. He heads back to Providence where he's played only five games this season, totaling a goal and four assists.
