The old adage says that “love is blind.” On Sunday, one fan celebrating Liverpool’s 3-2 shootout victory to win the Carling Cup proved that it’s truly more than just a saying.
A five-year-old Liverpool supporter was celebrating so enthusiastically that he actually poked himself in the eye. The youngster was so excited over the Reds’ first trophy since 2006, that he completely ignored the pain and continued in his vociferous celebration.
