Jeremy Evans’ Dunking Ability Garners Invitation to NBA Slam Dunk Contest (Video)

Jeremy Evans isn't exactly a household name — and that may even include his own household. The second-year forward for the Utah Jazz has 205 career points, or just a little more than three points per game.

Karl Malone, he's not.

The athletic Western Kentucky alum hopes to create some name recognition Saturday in the NBA Slam Dunk contest after a team campaign to include him in the event. Iman Shumpert's left knee tendinitis opened a vacancy in the four-player field, and Evans got his invitation.
