Brian Cashman Goes Undercover, Takes In First Inning of Yankees Game From Yankee Stadium BleachersBrian Cashman has got a lot on his hands right now, with his pitching staff looking like an absolute mess. That's not stopping him, however, from trying to have at least a little bit of fun.

ESPN.com reports that the Yankees general manager — dressed in somewhat of a disguise — watched the top half of the first inning of Sunday's Yankees-Tigers game from the Yankee Stadium bleachers.

Cashman, who wore a wig/visor with sunglasses "disguise" made the trek out to the bleachers with his son, Teddy. The two took part in the tradition of the Yankee Stadium "roll call" where fans in the bleachers chant the names of the Yankees on the field until the player turns around and acknowledges the fans.

According to ESPN.com, the invitation came from Vinny Milano, who is better known as "Bald Vinny" among the "Bleacher Creatures."

"He said 'Why don't you come on out?'" Cashman told ESPN.com. "I said, 'You know what, maybe I will.' I've got my son. I've never experienced the roll call from the stands. I wanted my son to experience a big part of Yankee tradition now.

"So I said, 'I'll come out for the first inning, if I have time. If something doesn't come up.' So we were able to make it. We sat for the first defensive portion of the inning and then we left and we went back to the office."

Cashman's disguise didn't really work out, though, as word spread about his appearance, and the GM ended up taking 30-50 pictures with fans.
