Former Major Leaguer Chad Curtis Under Investigation for Allegedly Touching Students Inappropriately

Former major league outfielder Chad Curtis is in some hot water.

Curtis, who played 10 seasons in the majors, in under investigation for alleged improper conduct with students, according to MLive.com.

The 43-year-old had been volunteering at Lakewood High School near Lake Odessa, Mich. He was slated to become the school's head football coach this fall but now has reportedly been suspended as a volunteer while under investigation for allegedly touching four students inappropriately.

No criminal charges have been filed against Curtis, who served as the athletic director at NorthPointe Christian Schools in the Grand Rapids, Mich., area from 2007 to 2009.

Curtis spent his 10-year major league career with the Angels, Tigers, Dodgers, Indians, Yankees and Rangers. He hit 101 home runs in his career while hitting at a .264 clip in 1,204 games.
