Report: Didier Drogba in Talks With Real Madrid About Summer TransferDidier Drogba could be set for a reuinion with former boss Jose Mourinho.

The out-of-contract striker is in talks with Real Madrid. He could move to the Spanish capital on a free transfer, according to the Mail.

Drogba, 34, confirmed his Chelsea exit last week. It was thought that he would join Shanghai Shenhua, but internal turmoil within the Chinese club has caused Drogba to reconsider a potential move.

The Ivorian cemented his status as a Chelsea legend last month by powering the club to victory in both the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League. His performances in the latter-part of the season have strenghthened his negotiating position, and a number of clubs have reportedly expressed an interest in signing him.

AC Milan, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are the most prestigious of Drogba's suitors. Clubs in Germany and Russia are also reportedly considering offering him a contract.

Drogba has said that he wants a two-year contract from his next club. His free-agent status makes it easier for top teams like Real Madrid to sign him and remain in compliance with UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules.
