Something ticked off a couple of Kansas City fans at the Home Run Derby on Monday. And they decided a little scrap was the only way to solve it.

Just as the derby was finishing up some fans got into an obscure scuffle. Now, seeing Yankees and Red Sox fans fighting at a game isn't out of the ordinary. But what could have caused these fans to start throwing fisticuffs at the Home Run Derby?

After so many years of losing, Kansas City fans have to be at the end of their rope and anything can probably set them off. The fans have started to get a bad rap as the All-Star weekend has gone on. Booing Robinson Cano seemed to be the tip of the iceberg, but this might outdo even that. We all know that Kansas City fans are passionate about their Royals, and good or bad it was on display over All-Star weekend.

When you get the honor of hosting the All-Star game, everyone needs to be on their best behavior. I guess some fans just didn't get the message.
