The rivalry between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning arguably is one of, if not the best in NFL history.
Brady holds a 10-5 advantage, though Manning won their previous meeting in last season’s AFC Championship Game. Brady and the New England Patriots look to avenge that loss Sunday when they host Manning and the Denver Broncos in what likely will be another memorable affair.
Since their first matchup in 2001 — which also happened to be Brady’s first NFL start — the rivalry has featured several classic moments. From the infamous “Fourth-and-2” game to the 2003 AFC Championship Game in which Patriots cornerback Ty Law intercepted three Manning passes, both quarterbacks have had times they either will cherish or would like to forget.
