GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay Packers defensive end Mike Daniels couldn’t hide his excitement after beating the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Daniels chipped in on what turned out to be a game-clinching sack with 3:25 left in the fourth quarter while the Patriots were threatening late in the game. The Patriots lost 26-21 after they missed a 47-yard field goal attempt and couldn’t hold the Packers’ offense to a three-and-out on their ensuing possession.

“This was awesome,” Daniels said after the game. “I mean, that’s a Hall of Fame quarterback right there. His tight end is like the Terminator. They’ve got a running back that’s my size with a very experienced offensive line.”

Daniels, of course, is referring to quarterback Tom Brady, tight end Rob Gronkowski and LeGarrette Blount, who at 6-foot, 250 pounds isn’t quite as big as the 6-foot, 305-pound Daniels, but he’s one of the biggest running backs in the NFL.
