The next stop on Rob Gronkowski’s epic offseason tour could be the cover of “Madden NFL 16.”
Rob Gronkowski is one of four finalists for the EA Sports video game cover. The New England tight end is joined by New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson and Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Antonio Brown.
Gronkowski stayed healthy for the Patriots’ entire playoff run for the first time since his 2010 rookie season, so it seems slightly risky to burden him with a potential Madden curse.
First-round voting concludes Monday, May 11 at 3 a.m. ET, and the winner will be revealed May 13 on the 6 p.m. ESPN “SportsCenter.” “Madden NFL 16” will be released in stores Aug. 25, 2015.
