Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan Jokes About ‘Commitment’ To USA Basketball

DeAndre Jordan apparently has no problem poking fun at himself.

The Los Angeles Clippers center probably will never hear the end of his spurning the Dallas Mavericks after he verbally agreed to sign with the team during the NBA’s moratorium period. Jordan has since apologized, but he still made a joke about his commitment issues at Team USA’s minicamp Wednesday.

However, we’re not sure if he was trying to make a joke while answering his next question.

In case you were wondering, the first Clippers-Mavericks game in Dallas next season reportedly will take place Nov. 11, per ESPN’s Marc Stein. And Shelburne is right in saying it won’t be like any other road game.

Mavs owner Mark Cuban doesn’t seem to have accepted Jordan’s apology, and you can bet Dallas fans haven’t, either. So if Jordan truly thinks the American Airlines Center won’t be booing him whenever he touches the ball, then he’s going to be in for a surprise.
