The New England Patriots reportedly filled one of three open spots on their 90-man roster Sunday.

The Patriots claimed offensive lineman Harland Gunn off waivers from the Atlanta Falcons, a source told ESPN’s Field Yates.

Gunn originally signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2012 as an undrafted free agent out of Miami. He also spent time on the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad in 2012.

The Falcons signed Gunn off the Saints’ practice squad in November 2012. He played 13 games in three seasons, making one start in 2014 at left guard.

Gunn joins Ryan Wendell, Tre’ Jackson, Shaq Mason, Chris Barker, Jordan Devey, Caylin Hauptmann, Josh Kline and Cameron Fleming on the Patriots’ roster at guard.

The Patriots opened three spots on their 90-man roster Saturday, when they cut cornerbacks Justin Green and Derek Cox and linebacker D.J. Lynch.

Green announced Saturday on his Facebook page that he has decided to retire.
