Update (6:39 p.m. ET): Hanley Ramirez was a late scratch Saturday evening from the Boston Red Sox’s lineup with a sore foot. Ramirez has been playing through a sore foot for several weeks after fouling several pitches off it, and was in obvious pain Friday night after doing so once again.

Alejandro De Aza replaces Ramirez in left field and will bat seventh. Here’s the updated Red Sox lineup:

Original Story: It’s Travis Shaw’s time to shine.

The Boston Red Sox traded first baseman and 2013 World Series champion Mike Napoli to the Texas Rangers on Friday, and Shaw entered the team’s lineup against the Detroit Tigers as a last-minute addition.

It appears Shaw will get an extended chance to prove his worth, as he’s back in the lineup at first base batting seventh for Saturday night’s contest against the Tigers at Comerica Park. The 25-year-old has shown promise at the plate in limited action, posting a .345 batting average (10-for-29) through 13 games with the Sox this season.

The rest of Boston’s lineup from Friday night’s 7-2 win remains unchanged, with the exception of Blake Swihart taking over catching duties for Ryan Hanigan and batting eighth. Swihart will catch Red Sox left-hander Wade Miley.
