Minnesota Vikings fans once again took it on the (frost-bitten) chin Sunday.
The Vikings faithful braved frigid temperatures to flock to the University of Minnesota on Sunday for the Vikes’ NFC Wild Card Game against the Seattle Seahawks with hopes of erasing past playoff heartbreak. The Vikings even looked poised to shake those demons and grab the lead in the final minute when Minnesota kicker Blair Walsh hooked what looked like an easy 27-yard field goal.
Vikings fans were crushed, of course. Yet the brutal defeat was even worse for some fans perched way up the bleachers who couldn’t actually see whether the kick was good. They eventually found out, but not after several painstaking seconds.

Way to go, Blair Walsh. Way to ruin little kids’ dreams.
