The Boston Celtics will close their three-game, post-All-Star break road trip by paying a visit to an old friend.
The Celtics are in Minnesota on Monday to take on former teammate Kevin Garnett and the Timberwolves. KG, of course, doesn’t have much of an impact these days, as the Wolves are led by a very young, very talented young core that includes Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns and Zach LaVine.
Boston enters Monday with a 33-24 record after defeating the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, while Minnesota owns the NBA’s fifth-worst record at 17-39.
