It’s April 20, which can only mean one thing: It’s National Look-Alike Day.

You might not be familiar with the under-the-radar holiday, which is rather self-explanatory. But you should give the occasion its due, especially with so many look-alikes flooding our television screens, our computer monitors, our cell phones, our tablets and, heck, our entire world on a daily basis.

Admit it. You’ve watched a sporting event in the past and thought to yourself, “Wow, that person looks familiar.” And it’s not because you’ve seen that athlete perform several times before. It’s because he or she resembles someone else you’ve come across. Many times, the other person is a celebrity.

With this in mind, we decided to compile a list of the best athlete-celebrity look-alikes. Surely, there are other doppelgangers floating around that we’ve unintentionally overlooked, but there’s no denying that these folks could be involved in classic mix-ups if we don’t stay on our toes.
