Shortly after he won Olympic gold medal No. 20, Michael Phelps was back in the pool Tuesday at the 2016 Olympics. And gold medal No. 21 soon followed.

Phelps anchored Team USA’s 4×200-meter freestyle relay team, which outlasted Great Britain and Japan to win gold with a time of 7.00.66. Also earning gold in Brazil were relay teammates Ryan Lochte, Conor Dwyer and Townley Haas.

There was a bit of drama during the race, though, when Phelps broke his swim cap and had to race to find a new one before it was his turn in the pool.

But he got a cap, and once he was in the pool, he did what Michael Phelps does best — win.
