Red Sox Vs. Rays Lineup: Rick Porcello Starts As Boston Looks To Win 10 Straight

The Boston Red Sox have a chance to win their 10th consecutive game, and they’re sending out their best pitcher to do the job.

Rick Porcello is on the mound against the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday, and the right-hander has been dominant in 2016. Porcello is 21-4 with a 3.08 ERA in 31 starts this season and is a contender for the American League Cy Young Award. The 27-year-old also is 4-0 with a 2.86 ERA in five starts against the Rays this season.

On the other side of the ball, Travis Shaw is getting the night off while Brock Holt starts at third base and bats sixth. Chris Young will start in left field and bat seventh, while Sandy Leon will catch for Porcello and bat ninth.
