Rob Gronkowski might have found a new hobby: horse racing.

The New England Patriots tight end bought a minority stake in the racehorse, Gronkowski, which is named after him. Gronkowski, the horse, will race in this year’s Kentucky Derby.

The terms of the stake are unknown, and Gronk told the Wall Street Journal he has “a lot to learn” about the sport.

“It will be a new experience,” he told WSJ.” Hopefully it will be something I like. I like new hobbies.”

The 28-year-old also hopes to be able to ride on the horse, despite saying he’s never dealt with them.

“I’m not trying to ride it for a full-speed ride,” Gronkowski told the WSJ. “I just want to get the feel of what it’s like to be on top of one. Maybe I’ll go for a full speed ride once I get comfortable.”

It’s still unclear what the tight end plans to do with his future regarding football. But on May 5th, he will be rooting for Gronkowski, the horse, to win at Churchill Downs.
