Despite the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 35-11 record, Scott Brooks‘ team is currently facing some adversity both on the court and in the locker room regarding star point guard Russell Westbrook.
During Thursday’s contest against the Memphis Grizzlies, Westbrook experienced a meltdown on the sidelines after an offensive possession where Thabo Sefolosha, who was seeking for an open three-pointer, brought another defender in Westbrook’s baseline path. Thunder assistant coach Mo Cheeks tried to discuss the matter with Westbrook, but the 24-year-old point guard ran off to the locker room.
After the game, Westbrook spoke to TNT’s Craig Sager, who didn’t get much out of the temperamental star.
